Medium: Three-channel video installation
Between the realm of consciousness and the physical space, Sharon Zuckerman Weiser presents a three-channel video installation. In each channel, she embodies a static presence, observing and engaging with the viewer, while posing a series of questions that unfold repeatedly in the words: "Do You Know?"
Each question delicately touches upon another facet of our human condition, our perpetual yearning to be understood, to elicit empathy, and to be seen and heard.
Zuckerman Weiser, an interdisciplinary artist with a background in choreography, designs scenarios that engage the bodies of the audience. Complementing each video projection, she creates an environment that appears to emerge from within the footage, beckoning the viewer to find their place, dwell, contemplate, and interact. Between explicit exposure and intimate spaces, between intentional stillness and a flowing current of thoughts, the artwork "You Do" takes shape.
